Digital Ether

Digital Video Broadcasting or DVB is a new standard for the encoding for transmission and decoding of TV signals.  There are 3 basic types DVB-S (for Satellite TV), DVB-C (for Cable TV), and DVB-T (for Terrestrial TV as used in Australia).
